After-Care Instructions

All Procedures

  • Expect light to moderate swelling and redness for a couple of days, especially in the mornings.
  • Arnica Tablets (6c), can reduce bruising, and swelling, and improve healing. Take the dose (5 tabs under tongue) every two hrs. for first 24 hrs., except while sleeping.
  • Colloidal Silver spray, may prevent infection or irritation, use as needed.
  • Gently wash with cool water.

Eyebrows

  • Keep the area clean and dry for 24 hours.
  • Use a gentle lotion if needed. Especially before a shower.

Eyeliner

  • You’ll rinse your eyes with eye wash or contact solution as needed to avoid itchiness and to keep them clean, dry your lashes with Q-tip to keep hair separated.

Lips and Areolas

  • Leave dry at first then when applying product, leave on 10 minutes then gently wipe off with clean tissue, to remove excess product. 2 times day for 7 days.
  • When fully exfoliated the product may stay on.

Possible Complications

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Puffiness
  • Bruising
  • Dry Patches
  • Tenderness
  • Itchiness

It’s OK

  • Use a new pillowcase on first night.
  • Wash your hands before touching.
  • The color may be too dark at first.
  • The color might appear to be coming off when exfoliation begins.
  • The color will be true around day 21.
  • It’s normal to lose 1/3 to 1/2 the color after the initial appointment.
  • Inform your physician of your permanent makeup when receiving an MRI or CAT scan.
  • If signs of infection occur (oozing, heat, increased swelling, redness in eyes) go to a physician immediately.

Don’ts

  • No Peroxide or Neosporin on the area.
  • DO NOT scrub, scratch, or pick the area.
  • DO NOT stretch or rub the eye area, as this may cause pigment migration.
  • No anti-aging or acne skincare products on the area.
  • NO swimming, whirlpools, or facials.
  • DO NOT dye or tweeze the area.
  • NO vigorous exercise for 24 hours.
  • NO makeup on the area till exfoliated.
  • Avoid pet dander due to staph.
  • Cover your lips when blowing your nose during healing to avoid staph.

How Long?

Healing time is 7 days.
